Frequently Asked Questions
Find clear answers for tracking scan gaps, customs delays, carrier handoffs, and parcel visibility questions.
Why is my tracking number not updating?
Tracking updates depend on carrier scans at each handoff. International shipments may pause for several days while they wait for export, airline loading, customs, or last-mile injection. If there has been no movement for more than 10 to 14 days, contact the sender first to confirm the parcel was dispatched correctly.
What does customs clearance completed mean?
This means the shipment has passed customs review in the destination country and is usually handed to a domestic delivery partner for final delivery. The next scan may come from your local postal operator instead of the original carrier.
How long does international delivery usually take?
Delivery time depends on the carrier, route, customs workload, and final-mile provider. Standard cross-border shipments commonly take between 7 and 20 business days, but peak seasons can extend that window.
Which carriers are supported on 9Tracking?
9Tracking supports major postal and express carriers across multiple countries. The system attempts to auto-detect the carrier from the tracking number format and route behavior.
Why does tracking show delivered but I have not received the package?
A delivered scan can appear before the parcel reaches your hands when it was left at a front desk, mailbox, parcel locker, neighbor address, or safe place. Check the delivery location, wait until the end of the day, and then contact the local carrier or seller if the parcel is still missing.
Can one tracking number change carriers during delivery?
Yes. Cross-border shipments often move between an origin carrier, an airline or line-haul partner, customs processing, and a destination last-mile carrier. 9Tracking groups these handoffs into one timeline whenever the providers expose enough tracking data.
